Itinerary 

DAY 1: Arrival & First Field Session

Note: Participants are requested to reach Amboli by 3 pm. 

  • Arrival and pick-up from Sawantwadi railway station or Belgaum airport can be arranged at additional cost.

  • Drive to Amboli (2–3 hours)

  • Check into the homestay/resort and settle in

  • High tea followed by an introductory session on macro photography and field safety

  • Evening guided night trail into the rainforest in search of Amboli’s famous monsoon macro life frogs, snakes, insects, and more

  • Return to the stay by 10 pm and retire for the night

DAY 2: Full Day of Macro Exploration

  • Early morning trail focusing on insects, amphibians, and fungi (if conditions allow)

  • Return for breakfast

  • Post-breakfast classroom session (optional) on lighting, composition, and flash techniques

  • Afternoon rest or gear-check

  • Evening into night extended field session (6 pm–9 pm) covering new forest zones and target species like the Amboli bush frog, caecilians, and shieldtail snakes

  • Group discussion or image review for those interested

  • Overnight stay at the resort

 

DAY 3: Final Trail & Departure

  • Early morning short trail (optional)

  • Breakfast and check-out by 10 am

  • Drop to Sawantwadi/Belgaum by 2–3 pm for return journeys

Note: Participants are advised to book return trains/flights post 4:30 pm.​

Workshop fees: 20,000 Rs.
(with an early bird discount 19,500 INR before 30th June 2025)

Inclusions 

1) Accommodation for 2 nights and 3 days on a twin-sharing basis.

 

2) Breakfast, lunch & dinner during your stay.

3) Special local wildlife guide charges.

4) Photography workshop charges.

5) All internal transfers within Amboli during the workshop.

6) Entry tickets, if any.

Exclusions

 

1) Travel cost of reaching Amboli. (any air, rail, or road expense)

2) Guide Tips, Mineral Water, Soft Drinks, Laundry, etc.

 

3) Any kind of Insurance, Medical or/and Emergency Charges.

4) Any extra meals not included in the above itinerary.

5) Anything not mentioned in Inclusions. 

Payment Terms:


Full amount to be paid 45 days prior to the workshop starting date.

  • 50% of the Tour fee if canceled prior to 50 days before departure.

  • 100% of the Tour fee between 0-49 days before departure. (NO REFUND)

  • In case the workshop is canceled from our end due to some unfortunate reason you will get a 100% refund.

(Please note: The date of written (email) communication of intent to cancel is the date considered for the calculation of the cancellation fees.)
